Day 01: Jodhpur Arrival
Upon your arrival in Jodhpur, your private driver will greet you at Jodhpur Airport/ Railway Station and transfer you to your Hotel. Check in and rest of the day is at your leisure and rest. Overnight stay at Jodhpur.
Day 02: Jodhpur Sightseeing – Jaisalmer (285 Kms / 6 hrs)
After breakfast, proceed for a sightseeing tour of Jodhpur city. The tour start from the Mehrangarh Fort, a formidable and impressive hilltop fort. A series of gates lead to the Fort "Jayapol" built by Maharaja Man Singh in 1806 and the "Fatehpol" or 'Victory Gate', erected by Maharaja Ajit Singh to celebrate his victory over the Mughals. The main gate is the "Lahapol", an iron gate besides which there are 15 hand prints which are the 'Sati Marks' of Maharaja Man Singh's widows who threw themselves upon his funeral pyre in 1843. Inside the fort, visit the palaces "Moti Mahal" or 'Pearl Palace', the "Sukh Mahal" or 'Pleasure Palace' and the "Phool Mahal" or 'Flower Palace'. Continue the tour to visit the 'Jaswant Thada', a marble cenotaph built in 1899 as a memorial to Maharaja Jaswant Singh II. Post lunch, drive to the Golden city of Jaisalmer. On arrival check-in to your hotel and rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 03: Jaisalmer Sightseeing
After breakfast proceed for city sightseeing tour of Jaisalmer. Visit the Jaisalmer Fort which is made by unique Golden Lime stone, hence also known as Golden Fort (Sonar Quila). Next visit Patwon-ki-haveli, Nathmal-ki-haveli. Salim singh-ki-Haveli. People still live in these ancient buildings dating from 12th to 15th century. Every house has exquisite carvings.
In the evening, proceed for camel ride on Sam Sand Dunes. Take the camel safari and immerse in the spirit of Rajasthan all through the night by staying in the mud-huts, meeting warm and rustic people of Rajasthan and have a touch of their culture with their lively music, folk dance, singing performances and other cultural programs. Overnight stay at Jaisalmer camps.
Day 04: Jaisalmer – Bikaner (333kms - 6 Hrs)
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Bikaner. On arrival, check-in to your hotel. Later, you will visit the Junagarh Fort, built in 1611 AD. Other places that are worth visiting here include Karan Mahal, Anup Mahal and Bijai Phool Mahal. Overnight stay at Bikaner.
Day 05: Bikaner Sightseeing – Mandawa (190kms - 3.5 Hrs)
After breakfast check out from hotel and visit the 16th century magnificent Junagarh Fort, which includes Anup Mahal, Gaj Mandir, Sheesh Mahal and Prachina Museum, Lalgarh Palace. Other places of interest include the famous camel breeding farm just outside the town (closed on Sundays). Later drive to Mandawa. Upon arrival, check into the hotel. The evening is booked to visit the Shekhawati region and explore the frescoes and painted Havelis followed by a camel ride. Overnight stay at Mandawa.
Day 06: Mandawa Sightseeing – Delhi (256km - 5-6 hrs)
After breakfast and check out formalities, you will be taken on a trip to Mandawa fort. It is an 18th century fort famous for arched gateway, paintings of Lord Krishna, mirror work, antiques and others. The fort is built in medieval theme and is now a heritage hotel. You can find many ancient paintings in this fort. There is various other tourist attractions in Mandawa like as Castle Mandawa, Gulab Rai Wadia Haveli, Chowkhadi Haveli, Goenka Duoble Haveli. If time allows then you can visit these attractions. Later drive to Delhi upon arrival check into your hotel. Overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 07: Delhi – Local Sightseeing – Departure
Enjoy your breakfast. Then, according to your flight schedule, the day will be dedicated to Old and New Delhi visit: Red Fort (closed Mondays), the nearby great Jama Masjid Mosque, India Gate, Qutb Minar (the 72 meter high monument) and more depending on your interests as you can decide with your driver who knows very well his hometown. Your driver will then take you to the airport for your departure flight.
